Habaneros on the Hudson is a Mexican cookbook for the Hudson Valley, created by Gigi Fava & Michael Kane. This book uses all of the wonderful produce that the Hudson Valley offers and pays tribute to Mexico's culinary traditions. Mexico's casual dining trends align with the Hudson Valley's laid-back atmosphere and appreciation for informal yet high-quality dining.

This project, Habaneros on the Hudson, was produced from a great love of working on the American edition of an established Italian brand, La Cucina Italiana, a boutique food magazine that serviced a niche market of engaged cooks with authentic recipes, luxury products 
and travel.
